Candles are one of the least expensive, most calming things in my house. I just love lighting a candle. For some reason just having a lit candle in the room instantly brings my stress right down and creates a calm in the room. That being said, I maaaaay have a small, teeny tiny, addiction to Slatkin & Co. three wick candles from Bath and Body Works. Just a small addiction. Ahem.
These are hands-down the best candles I've ever purchased. The smell is so fragrant and pretty that it fills my house just the right amount. Not over-powering or sickly-sweet. Even without lighting the wicks the smell is beautiful.
They are made using the highest concentration of fragrance oils, an exclusive blend of vegetable wax and lead-free wicks for optimal performance. Bath and Body Works boasts they burn for up to 40 hours and although I've never timed it, they do seem to be everlasting. I will say, the $22.50 price tag is ridiculous for a candle, BUT I have never paid that much for one of these. There's always a 2 for $30 sale or 2 for $25 and often I have found coupons for an additional savings. I think they are worth every penny. These two are the how my collection/addiction started.
Island Colada: A delicious blend of pineapple, creamy coconut and orange, with a touch of ginger.
Bahama Fizz: A refreshing concoction of island pineapple, banana and fresh kiwi, infused with spiced rum and coconut.
I wanted to show you just how evenly these candles burn. I've never seen something so flat and perfect after burning. No more dollar store candles for me!
I also love Passion Flower: Juicy passion fruit, watery pear and casaba melon combine perfectly with Tahitian vanilla. (It's the candle I have burning on my desk while I film and edit videos.)
Wild Strawberry: Fragranced with strawberry blended perfectly with wild honeysuckle and orange flower.
I am burning Lilac Blossom on our main floor now and just love it: A delightful fragrance blending lilac blossom, lingering muguet, delicate heliotrope and violets.
I plan to use Frosted Cupcake to create the illusion that I bake;) It's described as: A treat after a day at the market, a delicious vanilla-bean cupcake and rich buttercream frosting with a dusting of sugar.
I've only purchased one candle holder so far, this zebra print:
I do like the candle holders but I think the glass containers the candles are in are pretty enough on their own.
