I realize I am posting this well into October, but nonetheless, I wanted to show you what was in my September Glymm box. If you haven't heard of Glymm before, I explained this service in my August post.
This is what was included in my September box:
Dulces en Fuego Villainess body cream. I love the consistency of this product and it made my hands so soft and moisturized without feeling greasy. But the smell was too powerful and I didn't like it all.
I am sure that this luxury organic haircare is lovely. But, I'm not sure why it was sent to me, because in the survey I filled out for Glymm, I was clear that my hair is oily. I could never use a moisture shampoo/conditioner.
I love a good makeup remover wipe. These La Fresh ones were great on my sensitive skin and took off my makeup easily. But, it left a slimy residue on my face afterwards.
I was also sent a Bentaberry face moisturizer, the same one that was in my box last month. It's a nice product, but I was disappointed to get a duplicate.
As you can see from the pictures, the items came in an off-white makeup bag. While the one in last month's box is great and now houses my nail-painting tools, this month's had a broken zipper.
I am always so excited to get my Glymm monthly package in the mail and this was such a thoughtful gift from my friend. I just wish the products would 'wow' me! On the website they show much more thrilling items, so, fingers crossed for next month:)
Do you subscribe to a beauty box service? Friends of mine get GlossyBox and TopBox. Next month, would you like a three-way comparison?
I'm with you on slimy makeup removers. Best eye makeup remover ever - and I've tried many - is Kerastase. Doesn't sting my sensitive eye at all and no greasy residue. Slightly more expensive than a drugstore brand, but well worth it!
