Happy 10th Birthday iTunes!

Today is the tenth anniversary of the birth of iTunes.  Before this day, we could only download music illegally with programs like Kazaa, LimeWire and Napster.  But Apple's Steve Jobs revolutionized how we buy music and access songs with the invention of iTunes.  I bought my first iPod in 2005 and only download music, movies and tv shows legally.  At $1.29 or less per song, I definitely get my money's worth!
One of my favourite things to do is periodically check iTunes to see what's new and what's discounted. Jeremy feels the same and one of the best gifts we ever receive is an iTunes gift card!  As we recently did a post playing shuffle on our iTunes, I thought today we would share our top 15 most played songs on iTunes.

Mare:
1 - Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen
2 - We Found Love - Rihanna
3 - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together - Taylor Swift
4 - Super Bass - Nicki Minaj
5 - Til the World Ends (Femme Fatale Remix) - Britney Spears, Ke$ha & Nicki Minaj
6 - Turning Tables - Adele
7 - Part of Me - Katy Perry

Jer:

1 - The '59 Sound - The Gaslight Anthem
2 - Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts - The Gaslight Anthem

5 - Hey Jealousy - Gin Blossoms
6 - Everlong - Foo Fighters
7 - Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon
8 - Born Losers - Matthew Good
9 - Unemployable - Pearl Jam
10 - One Foot Out the Door - Arkells
11 - Go With the Flow - Queens of the Stone Age
12 - Through Glass - Stone Sour
13 - Night Moves - Bob Seger
14 - Primetime Deliverance - Matthew Good Band
15 - Blue Skies Over Bad Lands - Matthew Good

It's interesting to note that in both of our Top 15 List, most songs are ones we have acquired since we started using iTunes.  It goes to show that your more current songs are the ones that will get more play counts.  My count was re-started in 2010 when I bought my MacBook. Had it not changed and been keeping track since 2005, it probably would have looked much different!
What are your most-played songs?
